I was looking for something to enlarge the reduced font size in a magazine that is ignoring that many of their readers are baby boomers.
This page magnifier works as advertised but I was seeking more than 2x magnification. Placing it directly on a page with small print helped a little but not as much as when I held it up off the page. For what I want I will try constructing a frame to hold it where I want.
Would not recommend it for the way I wanted to use it.

Although I didn't completely read the information available on the package -- I was very disappointing that you have to have it 4" above/away from what you are trying to magnify... I'm thinking of returning it.

my wife purchased this item and found it to be too big to use on a regular basis, sort of in-convenient.
